It’s summer. And we should be flying off to new places and letting the sun warm our bones.
But we’re not. And Gerda thinks she knows why…
The Snow Queen has returned!
Join Tea Break Theatre as they transfer their spirit of adventure on to the small screen, via Zoom, and allow you and your kids to be transported on a magical journey through the seasons.
Many years ago Gerda defeated the Snow Queen but now she can’t remember her own story! So she’s calling all of you together to re-tell the tale, find the key to beating the Snow Queen and get the world back on track.
A re-shaping of the original production ‘The Snow Queen’, which had a sell-out run at National Trust property Sutton House, and about which one audience member, aged 5, said “I liked it too much” and one adult “Thought this was not my age group, but it was”!
Both an escape, and a chance to process the strange new world we find ourselves in, ‘The Snow Queen Returns’ promises to be a unique, enthralling journey for all the family.

Our tickets: Tea Break firmly believes that theatre needs to be as accessible as possible. Therefore we are letting you choose the price which suits you best! The more you spend, the more you support other families to watch the show at an affordable rate during these difficult times. Please choose the option that best suits you according to both the size of the group watching and what works for your circumstances. Whatever you spend, thank you for supporting theatre!
We are receiving no external funding for this show so our actors and writer will only make money from ticket sales. If, after you've seen the show, you decide you would like to contribute a bit more you can do so at our ko-fi page here: https://ko-fi.com/teabreaktheatre
Every penny you spend helps us make more theatre and tell more stories to more people. Thank you.
As you know, 2020 has not been the best year for theatre. And, as much as we'd love to be filling you in on the Hallowe'en and Christmas shows we had planned, we are unable to produce the live theatre that you know us for.

However.

We'd hardly let a small thing like a global pandemic stop us completely, now, would we?!

Zoom theatre is not necessarily the way we'd choose to do things but we are very excited about the possibilities it does open up and we hope you'll join us on this adventure!
In the meantime, here is a memory from one of our early shows to keep you entertained. Our musical director Felicity Sparks, reminding herself of one of her favourite Tea Break songs...
