For something short and sweet check out 'The Miniaturists' who run a night of short plays by both new and established writers. You get five plays for the price of one, all curated by a team who search out the most exciting writers and directors to create a consistently excellent evening every month.

Superb storytelling theatre company for something a little bit different but with very similar values to Tea Break at its heart. Set up by Claire Gaydon, a talented solo performer. Their latest show is Somebody I Used  To Know about friendship in the digital age.

A fantastically innovative theatre company exploring the combination of spoken word and music. Their work ranges from the musical to the opera to new writing using a whole range of styles, techniques and multi-media.

Tandem Theatre

Tandem Theatre are a fantastic organisation who provide bespoke programmes for vulnerable or marginalised adults and young people.


They are a charity and very worthy of your support if you're looking to help people through the arts and they also produce some fantastic work around the North West.
